United Way of Wyandotte County

The mission of United Way of Wyandotte County is to increase the community's understanding of human needs and to mobilize resources to meet those needs.

The American Red Cross

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is recognized as one of America's foremost leaders in social services and dramatically alters the lives of hundreds of thousands each year who face daunting circumstances such as unemployment or homelessness. From making the holidays happier for less fortunate families with seasonal assistance to providing quality housing for low-income seniors, offering free health clinics or teaching children to read, The Salvation Army is intrinsically involved in people's lives and your community. Where there are no corps community centers and other Salvation Army facilities, often in very rural areas, dedicated members of our service extension units fill the gap.

Cross-Lines Community Outreach, Inc.

The mission of Cross-Lines Community Outreach, Inc. is to provide people affected by poverty with basic services and opportunities that encourage self-confidence and self-sufficiency. Cross-Lines provides an environment that instills both hope and belief in the individual’s potential for self sufficiency. Our focus is to help the less fortunate and enable them to break their cycle of poverty.

Basehor Linwood Assistance Service (B.L.A.S.)

The Basehor-Linwood Assistance Society (BLAS) is an organization which provides a variety of emergency services for residents of the Basehor-Linwood school district. These services may include utility payments, food, school supplies, and holiday assistance. All requests are confidential. Bonner Springs—Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce

The Bonner Springs/Edwardsville area Chamber of Commerce, is a private non-profit member driven organization comprised of 150 business enterprises, civic organizations, educational institutions and individuals. Its mission is to provide leadership that will help create regional economic prosperity and success for its members in western Wyandotte County.
