THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful to the Bonner Springs Rotary Club!

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees, this year's Kentucky Derby Party was a tremendous success. We were honored to receive a donation of $23,000, which will help support local families facing food insecurity throughout the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville communities.

The Kentucky Derby Party brought our community together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and giving. Most importantly, it demonstrated the incredible impact that can be made when people come together to support their neighbors.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and participated in making this event such a success. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families in need.

Thank you, Bonner Springs Rotary, for your partnership, dedication, and commitment to strengthening our community.

LEADERSHIP

Wendy BowmaM - Executive Director

Wendy Bowman and her husband, Jason, are lifelong residents of Bonner Springs, where they raised their two children, Sofia and Slater. Together, they own a roofing business and manage their family longhorn cattle ranch, Little Kaw Longhorns.

Wendy received her Management and Human Relations degree from Mid-America Nazarene University. She built much of her career at Black & Veatch and the John Deere Corporate Office.

Her early experience at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ignited a passion for service, which continues to drive her today.

Now, as Executive Director, Wendy is excited to blend her professional expertise with her deep-rooted love for the community where she hopes to make a lasting impact.

Randi Jordt - Case Manager

Randi is new to Bonner Springs, but she grew up in a small town nearby. Randi has always loved getting involved in the community and she loves to meet new people.

She is very close to her family, and when she is not at Vaughn-Trent Community Services, you can find her watching Hallmark movies with her grandmother.

Randi also enjoys crafts, antique stores, and anything Halloween-related.

Randi has two dogs; she is also a huge Chiefs and Jayhawks fan so she should fit right in

She is excited to help VTCS lend a helping hand and grow a strong resource for the community.
